foundation the company has expanded its
milking equipment range extensively. In 2001 we saw the need to expand our
range to accommodate the demands of
the Irish farmer for high tech milking
equipment and decided to take the
agency in Ireland of S.C.R. milking
equipment, which is manufactured in
Israel. For a very long time the farmer had two
option’s for automation of the Parlour.
One was to go for expensive management
system with milk meters complicated
displays etc... Or install a simple and not
always reliable detacher. The MC200 is the perfect solution to those who want to get most of the advantages of the expensive system with a price similar to an auto detaching system. In addition to auto detaching and Milk yield display, the MC200 includes other unique
features such as a standalone pulsation which is controlled by the milk flow to allow the
optimal pulsation for each cow and save up to 25% of the milking time. Alerts for kick-off
and low milk and much more. In this method of pulsation, the pulses are changing dynamically during the milking in
proportion to the milk flow. As the flow increases the milking phase of pulsation (B) become
longer, while the rest phase (D) remain constant or increasing slightly. As a result the
pulsation rate slows down. The assumption behind the controlled pulsation is that high
production cows can be milked with longer strokes since the duct system and the teat
cisterns in the udder are larger. The benefits are quicker milking, less irritation of the teat,
and less wearing of the liners. In the different programs the pulsation starts are basic ratio
and changes according to a certain proportion with the flow rate up to the Max. The initial
and Max ratios and rates are shown in the table below. SCR's controlled pulsation programs are the result of 10 years of field experience in Israel
and Europe. Program 4 is the most popular among our clients, and therefore we use it as
a default. After gaining some experience with the system, other programs may be proved
to be more adequate. Custom programs are available on special order. Customers are
